Fashion on the Sea
The Art of Dressing on the Sea - November 6, 2024 - 3 days till our next cruise

Ahoy, fellow sea adventurers! Today, I'm spilling the beans on a topic that's nearly as important as my preaching schedule - dressing for life afloat.

First of all, let's start with the basics: natural colors. Now, I'm a proud preacher and travel agent, but above all, I'm a self-proclaimed fashionista. You can't go wrong with the classic navy and white combo that would make even the most seasoned sailor swoon. You know, the kind of look that says, "I'm here to have the time of my life, but also to potentially rescue a seagull if the need arises." There's nothing quite like donning a blue and white checkered shirt as you strut down the deck.

Now, let's talk accessories. Sure, I keep a responsible collection of statement sunglasses that make me look like a rock star, but it's my beloved baseball caps that really do the talking. Whether it says "Giddy's Travel" or "I Love my Wife",  a cap is your best friend on deck. Not only does it shield you from the fierce sun, but it also covers up the unkempt hair that results from the very nice breeze on the upper decks.

Finally, let's not forget the one essential element, beyond the threads and shoes: confidence! Yes, my friends, the secret sauce to any outfit is wearing it with enthusiasm, like I'm about to bless the ship with my presence. Whether you're donning your best Hawaiin shirt or rocking a tuxedo for formal night, striding down that deck like you own the place will take you a long way.
